Privacy Policy

Your privacy is an absolute priority for Agência Quartz.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

This document explains, clearly and transparently, how we process your personal data under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law – LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018), and describes our use of cookies and the rights of data subjects.

This is a translation of the Portuguese original. If the two versions diverge, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. Data Collection and Purpose of Processing

We collect personal data only when it is needed for legitimate, specific purposes, such as:

  • Responding to requests sent through contact, quote or support forms;
  • Sending institutional, informative or promotional communications (with prior consent);
  • Analysing browsing metrics to improve the user experience on the website;
  • Carrying out administrative, commercial, operational and regulatory processes;
  • Complying with legal, judicial and regulatory obligations that apply to our activities.

Examples of data we collect:

  • Full name;
  • E-mail;
  • Phone number;
  • Company and job title (where applicable);
  • IP address and approximate location;
  • Browsing history (via cookies);
  • Data voluntarily provided in forms.

2. Processing of Children's and Adolescents' Data

We do not intentionally collect or process personal data of people under 18. If we identify any improper collection, we delete it immediately.

3. Legal Bases

Personal data may be processed on the following legal bases:

  • Consent of the data subject – Art. 7, I of the LGPD;
  • Performance of a contract or preliminary procedures – Art. 7, V;
  • Compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation – Art. 7, II;
  • Legitimate interest of the controller – Art. 7, IX.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files this website stores in your browser. Alongside them we use equivalent local storage technologies (localStorage and sessionStorage), covered here by the same rules.

Nothing beyond the necessary runs before you choose. On your first visit the cookie notice appears and, until you decide, measurement and advertising tools stay blocked — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager run with consent denied, the Meta Pixel is revoked and our own audience tracker is not loaded at all.

Categories we use:

  • Necessary (always on): they store your cookie decision, the language you picked and keep the support chat and the forms working. The site does not work without them, so they do not depend on consent (Art. 7, IX of the Brazilian LGPD);
  • Analytics (only with your consent): they measure visits, page views, traffic source and interactions so we know what to improve. We use Google Analytics 4 and an audience panel built by Quartz;
  • Marketing (only with your consent): they measure campaign results and enable remarketing. We use the Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads.

Analytics and marketing entries only come into existence after you accept. Google and Meta are independent controllers of that data and may process it outside Brazil — see section 5.

How to change your mind at any time: click Cookie preferences — the same link sits in the footer of every page. The change takes effect immediately: if you refuse, measurement stops right away and third-party cookies are no longer renewed. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and adjust ad preferences at myadcenter.google.com and in your Meta account settings.

Your choice is kept for 180 days; after that we ask again. If JavaScript is disabled in your browser, none of these tools are loaded.

5. Data Sharing and International Transfers

Your data is never sold or traded. Sharing only happens:

  • To comply with legal and regulatory requirements;
  • With partner companies and suppliers acting on behalf of Agência Quartz under confidentiality clauses;
  • With technology platforms (hosting, CRM, e-mail automation and the like).

Whenever data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate protection mechanisms, as required by Art. 33 of the LGPD.

6. Data Security and Storage

We apply technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, leakage or destruction, including:

  • Encryption and access control;
  • Monitoring and periodic audits;
  • Confidentiality agreements and internal training.

In the event of a security incident posing relevant risk to the data subject, we notify those involved and the ANPD (the Brazilian data protection authority) as required by law.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Personal data is kept for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described here or to meet legal obligations. Once the retention period ends, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Rights of the Data Subject

At any time, you may request:

  • Confirmation that processing exists;
  • Access to your personal data;
  • Correction of information;
  • Withdrawal of consent;
  • Data portability;
  • Deletion or blocking of unnecessary data;
  • Information about data sharing;
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise your rights, contact us through the channels at the end of this document.
